An ergonomic office chair is the key to staying productive when working at an office or at home, and the time has come for you to put the dining room chair back in the formal dining room, and get a big boy or girl business chair to be comfortable, and help with your posture during your work time. Fatigue can set in with in just minutes when not having the proper computer or office chair in place, and that could translate into seeing the local chiropractor more often than anyone would like as an end result.

Ergonomic Office Chair

So many office workers suffer from lower back, shoulder, neck, and arm pain from using the wrong chair for the job. Whether your employer is responsible, or you are for having the proper office furniture in place to get the job done, then make sure to invest in the highest quality mess office chair that can adjust to accommodate your physical needs while working. By simply spending a couple of hundred more dollars on the correct office chair for the job, you will actually save money in productivity time, and those fifty dollars fees to the back-snapper down the street.

Mesh Office Chair

If you have children it is likely they have a computer desk in their bedroom as well, and the their need for a proper fitting computer chair is more important than you can imagine. First of all they are growing like weeds, and will need an adjustable mesh office chairto keep up with their spurts of growth. In addition, developing backs need the proper fit to keep posture in an acceptable range. Just because a chair comes with a child’s computer desk, it does not necessarily mean that it is the best fit for each and every future home office worker in your family.

The entire family needs comfortable seating with proper support when doing homework for school, or when updating spreadsheets for your employer into the wee hours of the night. You really need to make a small investment in the proper ergonomic office chair for each person in your household.

You'll probably laugh when I tell you that my preferred (home) office chair is a big white wicker rocker with a 4-inch thick cushion. When I began bringing my stuff from storage 30 miles away to my new apartment, the wicker rocker was toward the top of the list, along with the computer desk that consists of a slab of formica a friend attached to the wrought iron base of an old treadle sewing machine cabinet.

In that particular load (mostly boxes of books) there wasn't room for my standard office chair, but it wasn't possible to go back for another load for a week or so. A dining room chair wasn't "getting it" at the computer, albeit temporarily, so I pulled the wicker chair over, sat down...and wondered why I'd hadn't thought of this years ago!

I can rock while I read and type, and will never go back to regular office chairs, no matter how "ergonomically correct"! Plus, the treadle mechanism on the sewing machine base, originally the power source for Singers in Grandma's day, is a great foot exerciser. ;D
